Give A Cast Iron Teapot To Someone You Love

You must take note however, especially when buying from an antique store, to tell them that it is meant to be used and not just for display purposes.

However if you really want to buy a cast iron teapot, you will not run out of the different shapes and designs which are available to you. The tetsubin is what most will go to when they want to be more traditional. Even if is traditional, it doesn’t mean that it’s not stylish at all. They have a kettle teapot design and they even come in square shapes sometimes. Some traditional designs are basket weave, floral, geometric line designs, animals embossed designs and many others to choose from. They also come in different colors to match your taste but again if you’re opting for a more traditional design go for the black, red, green or yellow.

You can also slip in the note to the couple, together with your best wishes of course, how they can take care of their cast iron teapot. Remind them that they should never put it inside the dishwasher. It should not be placed microwave oven. And brushes, rough sponges and other abrasive cleaning materials should be avoided when cleaning it as well as harsh detergent or dishwashing paste and liquids. Inform them that it should be cleaned with warm water or tea instead.
