This is recipe adds a little flavor to the regular cornstick dish
and can be made in less than 30 minutes! Requiring less than 10 ingredients to make, how could you not want
to try these fabulous creations? Also they only 115 calories per serving!
Cooking Instructions:
Prep Time: 10 minutes

time: 15 minutes
*Makes about 4 servings (sticks)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ? teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ? cup margarine
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
Cooking Steps:
A) Set oven to 475 to preheat, also place the greased
cast iron pans to heat.
B) Using a clean mixing bowl, blend the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add in
slices of margarine, the buttermilk, and eggs as well. Stir well!
C) Once blended thoroughly, carefully pour the batter into the cast iron pans and bake for 15 minutes. Carefully take out of the oven, serve and
enjoy!
