Sweet Chicken Marsala

Marsala, a sweet, dark-colored wine made in Marsala, Italy is the
quintessential ingredient that makes this dish timeless and succulent. Easy and fun to make, you’ll enjoy
creating this delectable plate for dinner anytime.
Cooking Instructions:
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
*Makes around 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup Marsala wine
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ pound mushrooms, sliced
- Fresh parsley for garnish (only if
desired)
Cooking Steps:
A) Between two pieces of wax paper, press the chicken until ?
inch thick.
B) Using you cast iron skillet (preferably 12-inch), melt the butter and cook chicken until golden
brown. Carefully take chicken off of the cast iron skillet and place carefully onto a
platter.
C) Increase the heat on your skillet to about a medium high temperature. Next you want to blend your salt, pepper,
lemon juice, wine, and chicken broth into the cast iron skillet. Let it cook for a few minutes then add mushrooms (cook until
tender).
D) Carefully pour the wine mixture over the chicken platter
(also apply the parsley for garnish now, if desired).
