  
Squash and Vidalia Onion

Vidalia onions have a unique sweet flavor. Sweet onions can be used in this
recipe if you cannot get a hold of them.
Cooking Instructions:
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes *Makes about 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 3
tablespoons of butter
- 1
sliced Vidalia onion
- 6
sliced patty pan squash
- 1
teaspoon of sugar
- 1/4
teaspoon of pepper
Cooking Steps:
A) Heat the butter in your cast-iron skillet with mild heat.
B) Add the onion and saute when the butter is bubbling. And add the squash, sugar, and pepper. Toss to mix
with a spatula. Cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat, uncovered. Then cover, and steam for 15
minutes.
C) Add seasoning to adjust to the desired amount.
