types of cast iron cookware are capable of producing an amazing array of delicious, home cooked

Sweet Southern Honey Chicken Broilers!
This delicious cookout favorite is actually slow cooked in the
oven! In this creation the barbeque sauce used really fuses meat with flavor into an unforgettable
combination. This isn’t your average barbeque; it will have your guests begging for
more.
Cooking Instructions:
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 ½ hours
*Makes about 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- ½ teaspoon crushed marjoram
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 pound sliced bacon
- 6 chicken quarters
Cooking Steps:
A) Set oven to 350 degrees to preheat.
B) Mix the butter, vinegar, honey, marjoram, garlic, salt,
dry mustard, and pepper and a small bowl.
C) Then, fry the bacon in your cast iron Dutch oven. Once cooked, take the bacon out of the oven and carefully set
aside replacing it with the chicken pieces. Cook the chicken till all sides are brown.
D) Lower the heat and lightly brush the sauce across the
chicken.
E) Cover the cast iron skillet and place in the oven,
letting it bake for about 1 ? hours. The last thing you want to do is add the bacon back into the
Dutch oven. Then prepare to serve. Careful! It may be hot!
