Tangy Beef Tenderloin Pepper Fillets

Beef Tenderloin Pepper Crusted Fillets!
The fillet mignon is one of the most tender, juicy and expensive
cut of meat you can buy. Sear the meat to hold in the moisture and finish it with the oven so that it does
not become dried out.
Cooking Instructions:
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking
time: 10minutes
*Makes about 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 beef tenderloin fillets. About two inches
thick.
- 1/3 cup of cracked black peppercorns
- Kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons of canola oil
- 4 teaspoons of butter
Cooking Steps:
A) Preheat to 500 degrees
B) Jam the peppers in the fillets. Smear salt on both sides of
the fillets.
C) Heat the oil over mild heat in your cast-iron skillet until a drop of water sizzles when dropped into the
oil.
D) On each side, sear the fillets for 3 minutes. Then move to
the oven and bake for 3 minutes for medium rare.
E) Top each one with butter then serve
