  
Yummy Bacon Biscuits
Cast iron cooking is as popular now as it was centuries ago. As in
the past, today’s cooks have discovered that cast iron skillets, griddles, pots, pans, Dutch ovens and other
types of cast iron cookware are capable of producing an amazing array of delicious, home cooked
meals. We have collected hundreds of recipes over the years and we hope you will use them to create

Bake the biscuits in the same skillet that you fry the bacon in. It gives the
biscuits a bacon flavor.
Cooking
Instructions:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
*Makes about 14 servings
Ingredients:
- 8
slices of bacon
- 2 cups
of all purpose flour
- ½
teaspoon of salt
- 2
teaspoons of baking powder
- 4
tablespoons of vegetable shortening
- 3/4
cup of milk
Cooking Steps:
A)Put your cast-iron skillet over mild heat and fry the
bacon until crisp.
B) Preheat to 450 degrees.
C) Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Slice the shortening and add it to the mixture. Add in
the bacon.
D) Add the milk and stir until it gets thick.
E) Roll the dough in a floured board momentarily. Roll into ½ thick pieces. Cut with a floured cutter.
F) Spray your cast-iron griddle and put the
dough in. Cook for 12 minutes.
